The McCain campaign continues to snipe at each other over the handling, and subsequent effect, of Sarah Palin on the campaign trail. According Nicole Wallace, a senior McCain aide who is one of Palin’s handlers and helped to orchestrate her initial rollout, there is a ‘organized campaign to lay blame’ for things at her feet.
Sarah Palin gave a 2,585-word energy policy speech today in Ohio, and didn’t breathe the word “climate” or “global warming,” according to the prepared remarks available on the McCain campaign Web site.
McCain & Palin summon antidemocratic images of a communist state to attack Obama’s tax plan and his comment about spreading the wealth. But in August 2008, Palin said “And Alaska we’re set up, unlike other states in the union, where it’s collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when development of these resources occur.”
