Anyone But Sarah Palin…

The Republican National Committee spending nearly $150,000 to dress and style Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and her family in the wake of her nomination as the party’s vice presidential candidate surprised me. The first rule of fiscal responsibility, in my humble opinion, is to never pay retail. Whether you live in New York, NY or Wasilla, Alaska, there’s no reason you can’t look powerful, professional and put together on a budget.

John McCain’s presidential campaign said thousands of dollars worth of clothing purchased by the Republican Party for running mate Sarah Palin will go to a “charitable purpose” after the campaign.

Their is gonna be a bag lady on the 5th with some amazing shoes. But she bought this to wear it once????

Bitch, win or lose, you better wear it everyday for the next four years. Please! She’s wearing the equivalent of a house. If she wanted that, she could have bought this.

Sarah Palin just gave a fascinating interview with James Dobson of Focus on the Family. One of the most interesting moments is when she suggests that God gave her Trig, the child with Down Syndrome, in part to help promote the pro-life agenda:

So wait…God gave her a baby, born with genetic defects and problems, just so she could turn around and promote a pro life agenda.

Why not just make all babies born to healthy parents…ummm…healthy? Wouldn’t that be easier God? I mean, kinda lazy on his part. Its like God said:

“Look, I don’t have time to keep track of all the babies you humans are making so every so often some of them…ehhhh a little not right, but you should love them anyway. Next time I’ll pay attention and their be less wrong.”

So yai God?
