Sarah Palin just gave a fascinating interview with James Dobson of Focus on the Family. One of the most interesting moments is when she suggests that God gave her Trig, the child with Down Syndrome, in part to help promote the pro-life agenda:

So wait…God gave her a baby, born with genetic defects and problems, just so she could turn around and promote a pro life agenda.

Why not just make all babies born to healthy parents…ummm…healthy? Wouldn’t that be easier God? I mean, kinda lazy on his part. Its like God said:

“Look, I don’t have time to keep track of all the babies you humans are making so every so often some of them…ehhhh a little not right, but you should love them anyway. Next time I’ll pay attention and their be less wrong.”

So yai God?
